SUPPLEMENTS

Understand What You’re Taking — and Why.

Supplements can be useful, but they are often surrounded by exaggerated claims, confusing marketing and advice that lacks context.

ARONARO Health™ focuses on evidence-informed supplement guidance designed to help people understand what a product may do, how strong the evidence is, where limitations exist and whether it offers genuine value.

The aim is not to build the biggest supplement stack. It is to make more informed decisions and spend money where it is most likely to be useful.

START WITH CONTEXT

A Supplement Is Only Useful If It Solves a Real Need.

Supplements should sit on top of the basics, not replace them. Diet, sleep, movement, recovery and appropriate medical care still matter more than building an oversized stack.

The right choice depends on the individual, including diet, training, lifestyle, deficiencies, medication use and personal goals.

ARONARO Health™ focuses on helping people understand when a supplement may be useful, when evidence is weak and when professional advice is more appropriate.

01 - Evidence

How strong is the research, and does it support the claim being made?

02 - Relevance

Does the supplement actually address a genuine need or goal?

03 - Safety

Could it interact with medication, health conditions or other supplements?

04 - Value

Is the likely benefit worth the cost, or is the product mostly marketing?

HOW WE ASSESS SUPPLEMENTS

Look Beyond the Label.

A strong supplement decision should consider more than the ingredient name on the front of the bottle. Dose, form, evidence quality, individual need, safety and cost all matter.

Ingredient

What is actually in the product, and is the form relevant to the evidence behind it?

Dose

Is the amount used consistent with meaningful research, or is it included mainly for marketing appeal?

Evidence

Are the claimed benefits supported by reliable human research, or mostly by weak, indirect or preliminary evidence?

Practical Value

Does the likely benefit justify the cost, inconvenience and complexity of adding it to a routine?

COMMON SUPPLEMENT CATEGORIES

Different Products. Different Levels of Evidence.

Some supplements have well-established uses in specific situations. Others may offer smaller or more uncertain benefits, and some are marketed far beyond what the evidence supports.

The important question is not whether a supplement is popular. It is whether it is relevant, appropriately dosed, reasonably safe and supported by evidence that matches the claim being made.

01 - Vitamins & Minerals

Can be useful where intake is inadequate or a deficiency has been identified, but more is not always better.

02 - Performance Support

Products such as creatine have stronger evidence than many heavily marketed alternatives when used appropriately.

03 - Recovery & General Health

Some products may have a role depending on diet, lifestyle and individual circumstances, but benefits can vary considerably.

04 - Specialist Products

More complex or heavily marketed supplements should be approached carefully, particularly where claims are strong and evidence is limited.

Supplements Without the Hype

Supplements can be useful, but more products do not automatically mean better results. Learn how to assess evidence, relevance, dosage, quality and value before deciding what is actually worth taking.

FROM INFORMATION TO BETTER DECISIONS

The Supplement Blueprint™

Supplements can be useful, unnecessary or poor value depending on the product, the evidence and the person taking them.

The Supplement Blueprint™ is being developed as a practical guide to what may be worth considering, what deserves more caution and where marketing claims often run ahead of the evidence.

The focus is simple: understand the ingredient, assess the evidence, consider safety and decide whether the likely benefit justifies the cost.
